A few suggestions: - Toilets at half-way mark -More water stations -Event swag (t-shirts, medals, etc.) should have date of event included for posterity. -90-degree start chute not the easiest to navigate, and first 500m was brutally congested. Marshals, distance markers, post-race refreshment were excellent! Well done!”
“I had a great time. I do have a few comments for improvement. Some of the building sites smelled awful, and I very nearly vomited when passing. Avoiding these in the future would be ideal. Another water station would have been good, as would a toilet halfway. The medal was a nice gesture. I have never received one for a 10k. Great job on the organization, and insh'allah I'll see you next year!”

“More registration numbers required, to many people missed out on running. Clock at the finish line would have been a nice touch. Bend at the start made it crowded. More water stations could be nice. Apart from these minor comments an excellent race.”

“Good experience - enjoyed it although just seeing the building site on the Pearl was not the best view to inspire the run and it was quite dusty. The weather was a little warm so would suggest it was slightly later in the year next time”

“Best toilets at an outside event I have ever been to. Looking forward to a Half Marathon or multiple 10k events in the winter season. Route was good, food was good and everyone enjoyed themselves. ”

“Possibly, the most well organised event in Doha!! Loved the course, it was great to run around a differentt part of Doha. There is a real need for well organised run events in Doha, this event exceeded expectations and fed that need. I hope that further events of this kind can be organised. I can see this event getting bigger each year and other longer runs being organised on the basis of such a great event. Thank you organisers and volunteers”

“Very much enjoyed the event and was pleasantly surprised by how well organized it was. Will definately want to run in future races in Doha and would be willing to pay more as a registration fee if necessary. My only constructive criticism would be that I would have appreciated more roomtafter crossing the finish line to slow down and catch my breath before being made to stop and remove my timing chip.”
“Had a fantastic time. So well organised for a first time event. Everything seemed to run so smoothly. Toilets were the best ever at an event. Refreshments afterwards were great and very welcome. Would have liked more people to come out and cheer us on but the marshals were very supportive on the route. Can't wait to do it all over again. “Awesome event. Very well organized with good communication prior to race. Restrooms, tables, food service, stage were top notch. Could have started at 6am to avoid direct sunlight in face when running some parts of the course. Great Giveaways. This event is definitely ready more people next year.”

“The race was better organized than I thought it would be. The loos and the food/beverage spread at the end were both impressive. People were friendly and supportive. I do wish there had been more people - both to give more people a chance to enter + to foster a better running and supporting atmosphere. I wish more such events were on offer in Doha (most races seem to take place in the UAE instead): 5km, 10km and half-marathons would be welcome - there is a large market for it!”

“It would be SO NICE to run a course that is not full of the construction sights and smells. I know it's hard to do in Doha...so I did really appreciate the opportunity to run something with a group of like minded folks. Kudos to the organizers on the food and the toilets. SWEET! Weird that a friend of mine was not running the race yet his name appeared as a finisher...what's up with that? And he's a semi-pro runner, so hmmmmmm not cool since the imposter got a crummy time....not sure what happened there! He's in Portugal right now!!!!! Just wanted to let someone know...”

“My rating of timing reflects my satisfaction with my timing, not with the official timing process. Was really proud for my first ever official 10 km run to be logged as part of this inaugural Doha event! Wonderfully organized; not a single glitch (other than there could have been more trash cans along the route); great volunteers; easy route for first-timers; just overall positive event. Hope to be a part of it again next year (with a much faster time!!!!!).”

“It was fab. Sooooo well organised. Lovely toilets with handcream! There weren't many spectators on route but those that were there were very enthusiastic. I loved the goody bag at the end as I've been wanting a sun visor to run in for ages! Breakfast was lovely-pastries and fresh fruit. Medal looked good at first but the printing comes of very easily. Next year make the coffee hot and have a big timer we can see as we finish and it will be just about perfect :)”
“It was my first 10k race and it was a great one. Very well organised, everything from registration to finish ran very smoothly. I guess it helped that there were only 301 participants but I'm sure the organisers will be able to cope with higher numbers next year. The online registration was easy, the morning reg took less than one minute. Good facilities at the start and interesting circuit although maybe not the nicest one? I personally didnt drink much water but I can see how maybe 2 water stations wasn't enough for certain people. Also we were told about not throwing rubbish but then there wasn't any bins or bin bags after the water stations. That's my only negative. Good goodies bag and very nice refreshments/breakfast at the end. Well done guys, looking forward to next years race!”
“A great event, and excellently organised. The only negative comment I have, for those who like to collect race medals the printing came off the medal within 10 minutes of receiving it. I am already looking forward to next years run and anymore that this group of people organise. Excellent work well done to all concerned. ”
