“I missed the advertisements, but happily not the event! A small group of charitable athletes demonstrating a range of fitness levels. Aside from the few hard core competitors. many were out to complete the course and support the Safe & Sound campaign. Well done to all organizers - see you next year!”
“it'd be great to have this event a couple of times throughout the year (hopefully get a better score each time), water stations at the changeover and along the running track would be nice, snacks at the finish line (or more in the goodie bags), more supporters, better start/stop organization and better informed helpers (everyone was really confused until Guilluame took charge right before the race), different running track (no laps), have a first aid stand ready at all times (few people were stung by a smack of jellyfish and had to wait 20 minutes for the medic to arrive with vinegar and cream), times for both the swim portion and the running portion, more prizes and giveaways, develop a designated website for the event, and instead of tee-shirts have real tri-race gear (rashguards or caps).”
“Organisation was poor - can't believe this event is three years old. Little pre-match info. Could have had an extra hour in bed if the start time was correctly shown. Given two contradictory briefings. Fun run was finishing at same time and place as main event starting. But great event, beautiful setting and a very good cause. ”
