“Overall fun but some disappointments. The race started well before 9.00am, so though we were at the start line on time, it was discouraging to see that some participants were actually finishing the race at 9.00 Also completion certificates were finished by the time we finished the race, inspite of having registered online we did not receive any certificates.”
“The course is not very clear ie we passed the finish area but then had to go around The 3 km and the 5 km pour in together.. I could not compete with the 5 km runners, all got mixed up The distance feels a bit innacurrate”
“We travelled from Al Rafah to the clock round-about turned right and then at the first crossroads wanted to do a U-turn to go to the Cornish. This was blocked off - so we were forced to go to the next round-about and return in the direction form which we came. again we were waved on by the poilce. In desperation we turned into the RAK Hotel grounds and then bypassed the road block to get to the Cornish but found ourselves travelling on the left side of the road.Again we were stopped by the police. somehow they decided to let us through and so we were finally able to turn off and park. Happily we made the race on time but it was not a good start for us..”
