“The event was great fun. Cycle Safe Dubai is doing a fantastic job of raising awareness of cycling in our region and helping to promote safety for cyclists on the road. The turn around points were better arranged this time and the roads were well cleared of gravel and very well marshalled. The food and drink at the start/finish point was very welcome! Thanks for a great morning ride.”
“Keep up the good work guys. Very much appreciate the opportunity to take part.”
“Better information on event website. Unless I missed it I could not find start time or detailed course guide on the event site.”
“Should we remind participants of the etiquette of group riding - in a group of 9 - 10 riders we had only 4 prepared to do the hard work at the front. It became annoying as those prepared to lead had no real rest opportunities and those 'hanging on' got all the benefits but contributed nothing to the pace. ”
“Thanks for clean the gravel areas - great job guys!”
“Great event and well put together. Come on 92!”
“A "cold" UAE morning 17*C at the start, but perfect for me. ;+) After more than one year not on a ride, I was glad to be able to start this event. Proud sponsored by the local CANONDALE STORE which I only can recoment for their service and friendlyness. Even when spectators were rare to non on this build up ride the spirit of the riders made up for it. Some use it to train their racing skills (80km under 2 hours, well done) and others reach the finish with high spirit to have concered this disdance for their first time. I like to thank all helpers who made it happen and like to say well done. Regards to All”
“It is necessary some more guys at the support stations to feed the bunchs. Considering the starting time, it is difficult to have lot of spectators. However the above it is not so important and the event is well organized. Thanks to Spinneys and Cycle Safe Dubai ”
“No medal - great, No "Goodie bag" - great, Great event - great :)”

“Great event ......”
“As a competitor in Ironman events in US and Canada my expectations were modest but participation (in the training runs) have exceeded expectations.”
“Great! Thank you.”
“As a newbie, was somewhat lost at the start concerning how the ride would proceed and the course. Next time I will feel much more comfortable about procedures and race protocol etc Nor did I know much about the timing device or where to get times (which I will now go and look on the web site for!) A bit concerned about lack of medical support on the course where we had a rider in our group crash but i was unsure waht support he received - pleased it wasn't more serious.... Overall, really enjoyed the experience, achieved the 80km goal, and look forward to further rides and of course the 92k... thx”
“Great, very enjoyable ride, hooked up with a great team of riders helping each other through the distance.”
“Even though this is an individual timed event I feel that their are some riders out there who are perfectly happy to sit behind the group and let certain individuals take the lead, it was eveident that there are some riders out there who need to take care when riding in groups, it felt at times that there was an accident waiting to happen, I would suggest that people should be allocated to groups of 20 riders at a time and set off periodically it was all a bit chaotic for the first 10Km or so with all the chopping and changing around. All I know is that I put the effort in where as others didn't.”
