“As the organiser I was generally happy with the event and the route and venue. Next year I will improve the start and also reduce the time between the brunch and the prize giving. (by trying not to get lost) I will also look at the route markings in the less obvious areas.”

“The race packs were put together with care and precision!! The comprehensive instructions for both runners and drivers were invaluable. Additional marshalls required at the start - one to log the start time, the others to ensure the runners are in the right place. Enjoyed the new course crossing the Creek twice. New venue worked well. Overall a great event! Looking forward to next year already. ”

“Someone on our team came up with the theory that there was a prize for best costume... The rest of us never questioned the statement and started on each others costumes. It was a nice surprise race day morning to a) see what the others had created for each other b) find out that we were the only ones in costume. LUCKILY - we won 3rd place for predicting our time (still not sure how many minutes we were off, the timing/results seemed a bit sketch at the end). Brunch was great, the awards ceremony was an interesting event, thanks for the prize! I wish that the cars and runners were driving/running along the same route so we could have cheered on our team and other runners for longer stretches of time. Can't wait to see photo on the website and the team results!”

“First time I have organised a team although ran once, (long time ago) and marshalled once, (not so long ago). I love the course and love the laid back vibe BUT, big delay between finishing and results meant people left before the circle. Can I also suggest that t shirt sizes state if they are male or female. I ordered generic mediums for my team but myself and the other lady in my team would have ordered large if we knew there were female cut/sized vests. Ours are a bit snug!!!! No matter, we had a blast, one member of our team has only been in Dubai a short time and was blown away by the course, event, had never heard of hashing before so was amused by the circle etc. We will be back, to quote some one famous. Well done to Ian and his organising comittee. I will be reporting back to John and Ann down in Oz!!!!”
